In the third step we close the gaps, set up the processes and support you continuously. On request we take on the role of your external Data Protection Officer.
Do we need advice when we use AI tools?
Using AI touches two sets of rules at once, the GDPR and the EU AI Act. We assess the systems in use against both, check the provider contracts for data processing under Art. 28 GDPR and for third-country transfers, and write a usage policy for your staff. For a first assessment our AI check is available, free and without registration.
What is the difference between an external and an internal Data Protection Officer?
An external Data Protection Officer brings expertise without a conflict of interest and is not covered by the special protection against dismissal that ties internal appointees to the company long term. You save training and staffing costs, benefit from continuously updated legal knowledge and are covered by our professional indemnity insurance, while your team stays free for your core business.
